Ways to use garlic butter:

  • Garlic Bread: Spread onto sliced baguette and toast until golden.

  • Roasted Vegetables: Toss with potatoes, carrots, or asparagus before roasting.
  • Pasta Sauce: Stir into freshly cooked pasta for a simple garlic butter sauce.
  • Mashed Potatoes: Mix into mashed potatoes for a rich, garlicky taste.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 500g butter, softened
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
  • Salt to taste

You can also try different herbs like tarragon, basil or coriander for a unique twist!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Leave the butter at room temperature until softened
  2. Meanwhile use a blender, pestle and mortar or fine grater to mince up the garlic
  3. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and salt. Adjust the salt level if using unsalted butter. Add the dried parsley and mix well until fully incorporated.
  4. Shape and store: Place the butter mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and roll it into a log. Refrigerate until firm. Once set, slice into portions or keep whole and slice as you need. Store in an airtight container.
